In addition, rubber asphalt roads have large gaps, make it easier to absorb sound, and can effectively reduce traffic noise, which is equivalent to a 30% to 40% reduction in vehicle traffic. During construction, the amount of asphalt used on this 66km expressway should be 800 tons. The consumption of approximately 2 tires per ton of mixed material accounted for a total of 16,000 tons of mixture, which consumed 32,000 old tires. Due to the good results, this year's maintenance of the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway undertaken by the company also uses this material.
This reporter learned that this year Tianjin will use rubber powder modified bitumen 9600 in highway maintenance and repair projects such as Tianjin-Shantou Expressway, Binshi Expressway, Rongwu Expressway, Jin-Jin Expressway, Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, Jinbao Expressway, and Tangjin Extension Project. Ton. Due to the improvement of its new technology, it is possible to save 159 tons of coal and 2,318 tons of carbon dioxide.
