South Korean marine equipment manufacturer PANASIA recently developed a new ballast water management system GloEn-Saver?, which is based on SMART electrolysis technology and will be submitted to IMO for approval.
According to an official from PANASIA, “Our goal is to be a global leader in synchronizing with customer needs. Our system can be flexibly used in a variety of ship types and routes.†According to analysis, if GloEn-Saver? is approved, this will become Following Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea is the second company to have two commercial ballast water treatment systems (UV and electrolysis).
