Xylem new push boat water quality monitor

British Xylem Analytics and Aanderaa Data Instruments have introduced a new marine water quality monitor designed to expand water quality sonar that can be deployed on ferries and other ship types.
The monitor, called "SOOGuard," will be on display at Ocean Business 2013 in April. Xylem Analytics' David Goldsmith said, "In order to encourage ferry operators to install monitoring equipment, it is important to maintain the equipment easily and reliably. The traditional monitoring equipment "FerryBox" is an expensive custom system, but SOOGuard combines a lot of design experience and The latest sonar data logging technology can improve performance at a very low cost."
