According to the deployment requirements of China Shipbuilding (Stock) Industrial Group Co., Ltd., the Winchong Plant of China Shipbuilding Huangpu Wenchong Ship Co., Ltd. has fully started the modeling of the 2700TEU container ship (ship-type shipyard trading) project on the 3D experience platform. It is reported that after the completion of the 2700TEU container ship, it will become the world's first real ship product using the 3D experience platform to complete the design, which is of symbolic significance.
     As a new concept information platform for intelligent manufacturing, the 3D experience platform is an important support for the transformation of Huangpu Wenchong to digital factories and intelligent manufacturing, and is highly concerned by CSSC. Since the beginning of 2016, after more than three months of repeated testing and research, the company's CATIA project team and professional room staff have completed the preparatory work such as the establishment of library documents, background data entry, schematic design, and various professional technical routes. And organized professional designers to carry out 7 rounds of software (product library purchase supply) training, which effectively guaranteed the smooth development of the modeling work of the 2700TEU container ship project.
     In the next step, the Huangpu Wenchong CATIA project team will conduct technical research on the application of the 3D experience platform in the fields of manufacturing, management, etc., and make a technical reserve for the company to transform into intelligent manufacturing.
