It is reported that the five cruise ships are all made by Genting Hong Kong brand Crystal Cruises and Star Cruises. The Crystal Cruises 3 luxury Endeavor-class mega-yachts will meet Polar Class 6 requirements for sailing in the Arctic and sailing to Antarctica along the Americas and European coastlines during the winter.
The Star Cruises Global Class is designed for the Asian market with a registered tonnage of 204,000 tons and will be the world's largest postal ship upon delivery.
All five cruise ships will be equipped with ABB's complete propulsion system, power generation unit, automation and marine software systems.
The three cruise ships of the Crystal Cruises will be powered by two Azipod D propellers, each of which will help the ship to sail under extreme conditions, while the two new cruise ships of Star Cruises will install three Azipod XOs. Device. To optimize energy management, all cruise ships will also be equipped with ABB's flagship automation with intelligent operator interface and OCTOPUS marine software.
It is understood that five cruise ships are scheduled to be delivered from 2019.
